Opened in 1960, it hosted Africa Cup of Nations final matches in 1974, 1986 and 2006, as it’s expected to be once again this year. It also hosted the final matches in the U-17 FIFA World Cup in 1997, and the U-20 FIFA World Cup in 2009.

The Suez Stadium (also known as New Suez Stadium) was built in 1995 and holds 22,000 seats. Home for Premier League side Petrojet, Suez Stadium is one of the 2019 Total Africa Cup of Nations venues.

Built in 2009 as one of the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup venues, Al Salam Stadium is home for Egyptian Premier League side El Entag El Harby and also was home for giants Al Ahly games at both domestic and continental scenes. With the capacity of 30,000, Al Salam Stadium had originally an artificial grass pitch, before being modified to natural grass in 2014.
عنوان: Being home for Egypt’s largest stadium; Borg El Arab stadium (86,000 seats), Alexandria is also famous for its unique Alexandria Stadium. The oldest stadium in Egypt was built in 1929, and was a venue for the Africa Cup of Nations in 1986 and 2006, and also for the 1997 FIFA U1-7 World Cup. The 18,500 seated stadium is built on the old Roman style, and is home for Alexandria’s famous sides Al Ittihad and Olympic. It was renovated many times, last been in 2016.
عنوان: Ismailia Stadium is the base of Ismaily Club, the first ever Egyptian side to win a CAF competition (African Cup for Champion Clubs in 1969). The 22,500 seated stadium was built in 1965, and renovated in 2009. It was one of the venues for 1997 FIFA U-17 World Cup and 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
30 June Stadium
عنوان: Another Cairo based stadium that will be used in this year’s Total Africa Cup of Nations is the 30 June Stadium, also known as Air Defense Stadium. Opened in 2011 in New Cairo suburb, the modern styled stadium has a capacity of 45,000 and has witnessed some domestic and international matches, including the UAE Super Cup being held there twice.
