NEWSCameroon names squad for Senegal clash 05-18-2011
Cameroon coach Javier Clemente has named a 23-man squad for their 2012 Orange Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Senegal next month in Yaoundé. The Spaniard named only two local-based players, midfielder Andre Ndame Ndame of Coton Sport FC and striker Ngako Deutcha Duvalois of Sable de Batie whilst England-based midfielder Alexandre Song makes a return for the must-win encounter. The Indomitable Lions are expected to begin camping May 28 for the Group E clash fixed for June 6. The four time African champions trail leaders Senegal by five points, with four points from three games and nothing short of the maximum points will be a blow to their hopes of making to finals of the tournament to be co-hosted by Gabon and Equatorial Guinea. DR Congo and Mauritius are the other teams in the Group.
