Algeria, officially the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, is a country located in North Africa. It is the largest country of the Mediterranean Sea and the second largest in the Arab World. It is also the second largest on the African continent and the eleventh-largest country in the world in terms of land area.
 
It is bordered by Tunisia in the northeast, Libya in the east, Niger in the southeast, Mali and Mauritania in the southwest, a few kilometers of the Western Sahara in the west, Morocco in the northwest, and the Mediterranean Sea in the north. Its size is almost 2,400,000 km² with an estimated population near to 35,000,000. The capital of Algeria is Algiers.
 
Algeria is divided into 48 provinces (wilayas), 553 districts (daïras) and 1,541 municipalities (baladiyahs). Each province, district, and municipality is named after its seat, which is mostly also the largest city.
 
Algeria is a member of the Arab League, United Nations, African Union and OPEC. It also contributed towards the creation of the Arab Maghreb Union.

Zéralda
Zeralda is a suburb of the city of Algiers in northern Algeria. It is a district in Algiers Province and was named after its capital, Zéralda. It is the least populous district in the province, and was formerly part of Tipaza Province.
 
It is located on a vast plain of Algiers Sahel and a slight slope that leads to the sandy beaches.
 
The district is further divied into 5 municipalities namely; Zéralda, Staouéli, Soudania, Rahmania and Mahelma.
 
Zeralda has developed around tourism and hotel management. However, it remains a region with particularly agriculture gardening with several cooperatives across the town.
 
Its stadium, hosted the women’s final of the 2007 All Africa Games hosted by Algeria.
 
 
Dar El Beïda
Dar El Beïda is a suburb of Algiers, the Algerian capital. It is the seat of the district of the same name in the Algiers Province and has an area of 3200 hectares.
It is located 16 km southeast of Algiers.
 
During French colonial times, it was officially called with its French name Maison Blanche, meaning “White House.”
 
It is home to an industrial park which it shares with the neighboring municipality of Oued Smar and also home to the Houari Boumedienne Airport, one of the largest in Africa with a terminal for international and domestic flights.
