CAFonline: Great game today despite loss. What analysis do you make of this game?
MM: Nigeria was better organised than in the group phase and I have the conviction that they were more determined than us. They played a very elaborate game, that caused us so many problems and the many individual mistakes which my boys made cost us the victory.
CAFonline: Preparations for the World Cup, any plans yet?
MM: I cannot say for certain now, as we are still in the competition. We will go back home and in consultation  with our federation we will come up with an effective plan.
CAFonline:   To the captain of Cameroon. What were the highlights of this tournament for you?
We started the competition on a good note. We won two games and drew one. We had good and bad moments. We are having a very bad moment now but we will not let that trouble us. We leave with heads high despite this defeat and look forward to the World Cup.
Cafonline also had a word with John Obuh, the winning coach  of the  coach in this tournament.
CAFonline: Congratulation for the trophy. Today you are No 1 on the continent, your impressions?
JO: I give glory to God for this victory. It was a good victory especially playing against Cameroon which is not an easy team. Coming into this game, I said to myself that wining Cameroon will be a very big achievement as we had not beaten Cameroon for three years now. Today God was with us and we won.
CAFonline: Your team took a 2-0 lead but Cameroon equalised. Take us through the moments from the substitution and the winning goal.
JO: After the second goal of Cameroon due to some individual defensive mistake, the other players were very unhappy and it led to confusion in the team. I told the substitute (Envoh Terry) that when he gets in he should make some very important decisions before the goal. He did and that is how we won.
CAFonline: To whom do you dedicate today’s victory?
JO: To our newly elected President. Goodluck Jonathan the president of the Federal republic of Nigeria.
CAFonline: Plan for the World cup?
Between Tuesday and Wednesday. We will be going to South Korea for a tournament. When we come back we will then sit and do further preparation.
