Post Match Reaction – Ahly v Stade Malien Manuel Jose – Ahly manager “I’m proud of my players who faced all the difficult situations and qualified to the group stage. In the halftime break I told them not to lose hope and that they can score the needed goals to win. We had a very difficult situation against Stade Malien. They play twice weekly and we play a match every month. Besides we suffer from playing behind closed doors. I’d like to thank my players and especially Abou Treika. He was likely to miss the game via common cold attack but he insisted on playing and here he scored a hattrick. Once again I’m proud of my players and how they performed”. |
