NEWSPost match reaction: Zamalek 0-1 Al-Ahly 07-23-2012
“We have lost six points, but we haven’t lost hope yet. We still have 12 points to play for. I believe we didn’t deserve to lose. We were extremely unlucky in both games (Against Berekum Chelsea and Al-Ahly). We played well against Ahly but failed to convert our chances into goals. That also accounted for our defeat. We played with the only available players due to injuries and suspensions to some key players. Our next game against TP Mazembe is vital and we have to win to revive our hopes”. Houssam El Badry – Ahly coach “I am very happy with this vital victory. We are sitting at the top of the group, but we haven’t qualified yet. Our next game is against Berekum Chelsea and it will be key for qualification to the semi final. My players played to instructions at halftime and it reflected in our dominance in the second half. We will play all the games to win and won’t be resilient till the last game”.
