NEWSMatch Reaction: Royal Leopard vs Club Africain 04-29-2012
Royal Leopard coach: Texan Phiri “It was an evenly contested match but we conceded a soft goal which let us down otherwise my boys played well especially in the second half. We were just unfortunate not to score as we got the chances. The second leg will be a tough game for us but we still have all the chances as we now know what to expect from the Tunisians who we thought would trouble us but they were not as convincing. If we can work on our finishing then I’m sure we can still get something in the away leg.” Club Africain coach: Patrick Lewig “I’m proud we got a crucial 1-0 away win but we still have to be careful as Leopard showed they were also a good side that can give us problems in the second leg. Otherwise it was a good game and we loved every part of it even though in the second half we were put under immense pressure by Leopard who were looking for an equaliser but we stood firm and defended our advantage. My players showed discipline throughout the game which is vital even in the second leg due in two weeks time. |
