El Amal lose at home to Interclube.

Sudan club side El Amal’s dreams of going further in the Orange CAF Confederation Cup was ended by Interclube of Angola courtesy of a 2-0 win by the visitors in north Sudan city Atbara. Goals from Kialunda Joko and Antonio Josto saw the Angolan side through 6-1 on aggregate.

El Amal dominated possession as was expected of the home team and they pushed for an early goal but InterClube's defenders led by conoglese goal-keeper BolongoEbeni stood their ground. El Amal first attempt came five minute into the game but AwadYahia’s header was easily saved by Bolongo. Odyamir Breganha then went close with an attempt during a period El Amal were in ascendancy.

Adam Sair had the chance to put Al Amalin in front but could not find the net from close range after Anas El Tahir had played him through. Bolongo was called upon to save the visitors again from Mohamad Abdulrahim. Against the run of play it was InterClube who took a shock lead through Kialunda Joko in minute 27 who pounced on a corner kick to beat El Amal goalkeeper.

El Amal tried to fight back straight away with Sudanese international ZohairZakaria who's shot was just over the bar

In the second half Interclube stepped up play , taking the game to El Amal. The home side needed the reflexes of MohamadAdam to stop the Angolans increasing their tally . He saved twice from Joao and Antonio Joko in the 55 and 63 respectively

The Antonio 'Paty' Josto produced some individual magic to double Interclube’s score . He dribbled past centeral defender Ana before beating goal-keeper Mohmad Adam sending the ball into an empty net. The goal in the 80^th minute sapped the energy out of El Amal who seemed resigned to defeat as they realized the task was
