Upbeat Tanzania going to play offensively against Mozambique - Poulsen

Tanzania coach Kim Poulsen has vowed that his Taifa Stars will go on the attack when they face  Mozambique away in Maputo in the return leg match of 2013 African Cup of Nations second round qualifiers this Saturday.
The Taifa Stars produced some impressive attacking football as they came from behind to beat Gambia 2-1 in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying match at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam last Sunday. The Stars face yet another uphill task as they bid to reach the final qualifying round of the AFCON qualifiers when they take on Mozambique away, having managed only a 1-1 draw during the first leg at home last February.
Whilst the first leg result means The Mambas have the advantage going into the return leg, Poulsen, speaking ahead of this weekend’s game, sounded a warning shot when he pledged that his team will adopt  attacking principles for this match.
“We are going there to attack,” the Danish tactician said at a press conference in the capital city Dar es Salaam. The (first-leg) game ended in a draw and now we are playing away and we need to score to go through. May be Mozambique was stronger than us back in February but now we are at our best, I believe we can beat them.”
Taifa Stars are scheduled to depart for Maputo, Mozambique on Friday morning minus three players; second-choice goalkeeper Mwadini Ali and two defenders Masoud Nassoro and Waziri Salum who are injured.
But Poulsen is expected to welcome back two key players midfielder Nurdin Bakari and striker Thomas Ulimwengu. The duo return to the fold after missing Tanzania’s two World Cup qualifying matches against Ivory Coast and Gambia due to injury.
In the first leg match Mozambique scored first through Clesio Bauque who capitalized on slack defending by Taifa Stars to slot home past goalkeeper Juma Kaseja. However, Tanzania midfielder Mwinyi Kazimoto scored the equalizer with a stunning effort from almost 25 meters out after 41 minutes.
