NEWSPost-match reaction – Egypt v Central African Republic 06-18-2012
Bob Bradley – Egypt manager “We committed a series of mistakes especially in the defense and that’s why we lost. We are all responsible, all the players and the technical staff. The return leg needs a group of fighters. It’s going to be a very difficult mission. Our main mission is qualifying to the 2014 World Cup, so I won’t resign if we failed to qualify to the 2013 AFCON. In all ways we have to fight in the return leg”. Herve Loungoundji – Central African Republic manager “We are extremely delighted. To beat a team like Egypt and at their home is a historical victory. We deserved to win because we were the better side despite playing a man less for almost two thirds of the game. I can’t wait till the return leg because we want to win again and qualify to the next round. I’m sure we can do that”. |
