06 May 2018 09:01

CAF has started a new training program in Cairo targeted to the CAF referees who joined the FIFA list in 2018. The course is divided into two parts: the French-speaking group training taking place from the 5th till the 9th of May 2018 followed by the English-speaking group training from the 11th to the 15th of May 2018. We might notice the involvement of more and more women, which is a direct reflection of CAF President commitment to promote women football in the continent, and the desire to develop technological assistance.

For the French-speaking module, 17 referees, 16 assistant referees and 6 women referees will attend the course. Regarding the English-speaking module, which will start two days after, it, will include 17 referees, 18 assistant referees and 9 women referees.
