Thomas Libih (Head Coach, Cameroon)
We came here to learn and we are still in the learning process. We play against the best team and we know the challenge ahead of us. We saw Morocco from the last game; they have good strikers and play offensively, but they also have weaknesses in the defense that we can exploit to our advantage.
I understand that this game is crucial for us but I don’t need to put much pressure on my players. They need to relax and play their way. We need to let these young boys enjoy good football and should not being carried away by the demand of the fans. This is like a final and we are looking forward to compete well.
Ekoi Manfred (Goalkeeper, Cameroon)
Morocco is a good team; I can recall that we lost to them 1-0 in Turkey (during the UEFA Assist Invitational tourney). We expect a tough game against them, but the good thing about us is that we are well united and disciplined.
All teams in our group are good. We watched Morocco against Senegal and they all play good football. If we need to beat them, we need to be technically and tactically discipline. Regarding Morocco, offensively they are good but they are not that good in the defense, so we can take advantage of that.
Jamal Sellami (Head Coach, Morocco)
My players had enough time to rest after the Monday game against Senegal. The medical staffs attended to their condition before this game. We need to replicate our form and improve on our performance. We played good but we were not clinical enough to win.
Cameroon play long balls and they are physically good, but we are prepared to take them on in all scenarios. We will surely come different against them because we have put a good strategy to outplay them and win. We understand that if we will perform well in this game, it will inspire us to do well for the remaining games.
Youssef Aoujdal (Captain, Morocco)
We have forgotten what happened in the first game against Senegal, and our concentration is on the crucial encounter against Cameroon. We understand that we need to give our best to win. We are happy for the good support from local fans, we appreciate it and we will not let them down.
