UNIFFAC : Iya Mohammed Re elected
Iya Mohammed, the president of the Cameroon football federation, has been re-elected the head of the Central African regional football Confederation (UNIFFAC) following a general assembly meeting which was held at the end of last month in Douala, Cameroon.

Iya was first elected president of the regional football grouping in 2006 and has been given another two year mandate to continue his ambitious programme.

The general assembly also accorded Cameroon the right to organize the under 17 regional championship in 2009 while Chad will in 2010 host the feminine championship. Member countries of UNIFFAC include Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, The Democratic Republic of Congo, The Central African Republic, Chad, and Sao Tome and Principe.
