Gabonese striker Aubameyang joins Lillle

Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has joined French Ligue 1 side Lille from Ligue 2 side Dijon for next season.

The 19-year old, on the books of Italian giants AC Milan will spend the 2009/2010 season on loan with the Lille-based side, after the expiration of year-long loan deal with the Ligue 2 outfit.

Aubameyang scored eight times for Dijon in all competitions.

He becomes the sixth player to leave the Dijon-based club after goalkeepers Landry Bonnefoi and Florent Perraud, defender Florian Jarjat, midfielder Freddy Bourgeois and striker Helder Esteves.

Aubameyang born in France scored on his Gabon debut, a 2-1 victory over Morocco in a 2010 World Cup/Africa Cup of Nations qualifier last March.
