CAF Ambassadors Jay Jay Okocha (Nigeria), Elhadji Diouf (Senegal) will join other African football icons including Antoine Bell, Gadji Celi (Cote d’Ivoire) at the highly anticipated TotalEnergies CAF AFCON Cote d’Ivoire 2023 Coaches Symposium in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
The event will take place on Thursday and Friday, 12-13 September in Abidjan.
Former Cameroon goalkeeper Bell, South African defender Mark Fish, and Ghana’s Otto Addo, now coach of the Black Stars, will be attending the two-day gathering.
They will be part of a star-studded line-up that also includes former Nigeria defender Augustine Eguavoen, Fulham legend Luis Boa Morte, who is the current coach of Guinea-Bissau, and Senegal's Pape Thiaw, among others.
The symposium will mark the first-ever such meeting of African coaches, with 50 national team coaches from across CAF’s Member Associations expected to attend.
It will provide a platform for an exchange of ideas and experiences among Africa's top coaches, including Emerse Faé, who led Côte d’Ivoire to the final of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations 2023.
