The final first leg of the CAF TotalEnergies Women's Champions League qualifying round in the UNIFFAC zone was a full display of talent for the host team, Malabo King FC.

At the Estadio de Malabo in Equatorial Guinea, the local ladies outscored the Congolese Amani FCF 4-1. The 2nd Leg match will take place in Kindu, DR Congo, on September 12.

Central Africa is about to deliver its representative to the first edition of the new CAF Women's Champions League planned in Egypt at the end of the year.

Of the four clubs that started the qualifying phase, only Malabo King and Amani FCF remain in the race. And the former seems to be the most suitable to join the final tournament in the land of the Pharaohs.

Last Sunday, Linan N’Gbazo's opener (2 ’) and Drepoba Stéphanie Gbogou’s hat-trick (36’ P, 46 ’, 62’) gave the Equatorial Guineans the victory. However, Amani FCF scored a goal by Marlène Kasaj Yav in the 21st minute.
