Morocco’s ASFAR qualified for the final tournament of CAF Women’s Champions League

Morocco’s ASFAR Club rained 10 goals against Tunisia’s Banque de l’Habitat, and qualified for the final stage of the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League.

ASFAR Club secured its qualification to the final stage of the African Champions League for women's football clubs, after raining the nets of Tunisia’s Banque de l’Habitat with ten clean goals in the match that was held on Friday, July 30, at the Municipal Stadium in Berkane for the third and final round of the North African Football Union Qualifiers.

ASFAR goals came by Ibtisam Jaradi in the 14th, 43rd and 59th minutes, Fatima Taknout in the 24th minute, Nora Modani in the 30th minute, Ghozlan Shebak in the 45th minute from a penalty kick, Hanan Aya Al-Hajj in the 54th minute from a penalty kick, Sanaa Al-Yaqoubi, a mistake in her team’s goal in the 56th minute, and Najat Badri in the 56th minute. Ajbilo also found the nets from a penalty kick.

In the second round, ASFAR defeated Algeria's Afak Relizane 4-1 to lead the overall standings with a total of 6 points and to advance to the finals of the tournament in its first edition scheduled for the end of this year in Egypt.

Afak Relizane took second place with 3 points, benefiting from its victory in the first round over Tunisia’s Banque de l’Habitat 3-1.
