Algeria beats Tunisia to continue unbeaten streak

Les Fennecs of Algeria managed to boost their unbeaten record, as they defeated neighbours Tunisia 2-0 in a friendly at Rades, Tunis on Friday evening.

Baghdad Bounedjah and Captain Riyad Mahrez scored Algeria's goals early in the first half.

The reigning African Champions needed just 19 minutes to find their way into the Tunisian net. A beautifully executed pass from Djamel Benlamri found Youcef Belaili, who sent a long cross to Bounedjah to fire home past Moez Hassen.

The Carthage Eagles tried to find the equalizer but could not trouble Rais Mbolhi in goal for guests Algeria.

Les Fennecs doubled their lead after 28 minutes through skipper Mahrez who scored from a beautifully executed freekick that reminded supporters with his famous winner against Nigeria in the Total AFCON, Egypt 2019 semi-final.
