Formed between CR Belouizdad (2006-2008) and JS Kabylie (2008-2011) then Paradou AC, , Youcef Attal became one of the key pieces in the Djamel chessboard Belmadi.

The 23-year-old fennec is coming off an exceptional first season with OGC Nice, finishing co-top scorer despite his right-back position. In selection, Atal is now tenured on the right flank and has managed a thundering start for the Total Africa Cup of Nations. With Les Fennecs, Atal has worn the green jersey 10 times. He played his first had his debut for Algeria on 6 June2017 against Guinea (2-1 victory). On 18 November 2018 during an 2019 AFCON qualifier against Togo, he scored his first international goal.
