Cameroon – Mali

·       This will be the second encounter between Cameroon and Mali in the African Nations Championship after Cameroon’s win on 10 February 2011 in the groups stage in Sudan, a 1-0 victory.

·       After their 1-0 victory against Zimbabwe on 16 January, Cameroon could win consecutive African Nations Championship games for the first time since winning their first three in 2011 (including a 1-0 win vs Mali).

·       Mali have won their first game of an African Nations Championship group stage for the first time (1-0 v Burkina Faso on 16 January) and could clinch two victories in the same group stage for the first time ever in the competition.

Burkina Faso – Zimbabwe

·       Burkina Faso and Zimbabwe have already faced each other in the African Nations Championship back in January 2014 - Zimbabwe won 1-0.

·       Burkina Faso have failed to win any of their seven games in the African Nations Championship (D3 L4). Defeated 1-0 by Mali on 16 January, they could endure two consecutive losses in the competition for the first time.

·       Zimbabwe have lost four of their last five African Nations Championship games (D1), after losing only twice in their first 11 (W3 D6).
