Uganda – Morocco

·       Uganda and Morocco will meet for the second time in the African Nations Championship, after the Atlas Lions' win in the group stage in 2014 (3-1).

·       Uganda conceded two goals in their last African Nations Championship match against Togo (1-2), one more than in their previous three combined (1).

·       Morocco have not conceded in their first two group stage matches in the African Nations Championship in 2020-21, a first in their history at this stage of the competition.

Togo – Rwanda

·       Togo won their first ever African Nations Championship game on 22 January against Uganda (2-1), having lost on 18 January against Morocco (0-1), in their first ever match in the competition.

·       Rwanda have not scored in four of their last five African Nations Championship matches (including the last three), after having found the net in each of their previous six.

Rwanda have won only one of their last seven African Nations Championship matches (D3 L3) - against Equatorial Guinea (1-0) in the group stage in 2018 -, having won two in a row before this.
