The second semifinal of the 2019-20 Total CAF Confederation Cup will take place at Mohamed V Complex in Casablanca between Pyramids (Egypt) and Horoya (Guinea) on Tuesday 20 October 2020.

Here’s what the coaches and captains told CAFOnline.com before the game.

Ante Cacic (Coach, Pyramids)

It’s going to be a tough game. Horoya is a good team and reaching the semifinal proves how strong they are. Pyramids is playing to win as our target is nothing but the title. We will give our best to reach the final and try to win the trophy. We studied Horoya well and will apply the best tactic to achieve our target.

Abdullah El Said (Captain, Pyramids)

To reach the semifinal is a good achievment and we all know what’s at stake. Hopefully we could win the title to be our first ever trophy. All the players are motivated to do something good for themselves and the club. Horoya is a good team, but we are here to win the title.

Lamine N’diaye (Coach, Horoya)

Things have been tough during the pandemic, and we even miss some players because of injuries and others who have left the club. But we have to deal with those who are here and valid to play. We are ready for the game and our target is nothing but reaching the final.

Ocancey Mandela (Captain, Horoya)

This semi-final is very important for us. The match against Pyramids is crucial for Horoya. We have to give one hundred percent or even two hundred percent because this is a game in which we have to write our history. Now is the time for us to make history.
