Experience and youth dominate Sudan squad for Madagascar tie

Sudan coach Mohamed Abdallah “Mazda” has gone for a blend of experience and youth for their Group A Day one clash against Madagascar on Friday in mid-western Sudanese city of Obeid.

Mazda has named 31 players for the crucial Group A clash as the Desert Hawks eye a winning start to the qualifiers for the Total Africa Cup of Nations Cameroon 2019.

The entirely locally-based squad includes four goalkeepers, eight defenders, 11 midfielders and four forwards.

Senegal will square Equatorial Guinea in the other Group A match in Dakar on Saturday.
