Kalaba is new captain for Chipolopolo

Kalaba has since been officially presented to the team and his first major assignment will be the 30th edition of the AFCON due to take place in a fortnight in Equatorial Guinea.

Meanwhile, Zambia lost 0-1 to South Africa last Sunday (4 January 2015) in a friendly at the Orlando Stadium, Johannesburg, as part of preparations for Orange AFCON 2015.

The Chipolopolo, winners in 2012 are housed in Group B alongside Cape Verde, DR Congo and Tunisia.
