South Sudan names 23-man squad for Equatorial Guinea reverse

Ahead of the final day match against

Soro will be in charge of the Bright Stars for the final bow in the absence of Uganda-born Leo Adra. The squad include three goalkeepers, seven defenders, nine midfielders and three forwards with the eight foreign-based players all plying their trade in Sudan.

There is nothing at stake in the

South Sudan has three points whilst Equatorial Guinea rests at the bottom with just a point from five matches. Mali, guaranteed to finish either as group winners or one of the two best runners-up lead the pack with 13 points, two more than Benin.

Meanwhile, the Bright Stars are expected to leave for Malabo on Thursday, 1 September 2016; three clear days ahead of the match.
