We are ready and prepared - Tom Saintfiet

It will be the second time The Gambia will be participating in the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON after making their debut appearance in 2022 in Cameroon.

After being welcomed to a great reception by the Ivorian Delegation, Tom Saintfiet revealed that the continental football spectacle will be special and exciting in Côte d'Ivoire.

"We are delighted to arrive in Côte d'Ivoire for the second consecutive Africa Cup of Nations We are well prepared for the competition and we are ready for the start of the competition,” Tom Saintfiet told CAFOnline.

The Belgian coach continued,”We expect the Africa Cup of Nations finals in Côte d'Ivoire to be special and good, especially with the presence of The Gambia in Group C alongside Senegal, Guinea and Cameroon.

The Gambia will begin their TotalEnegies CAF AFCON campaign on Monday, 15 January against defending champions, Senegal.
