Rahimi – The Atlas Lions Goal Machine

Morocco Atlas Lions are currently the highest scoring team at the Sixth edition of the Total African Nations Championship (CHAN), Cameroon 2020.

Morocco netted nine goals going into the semi-final clash against hosts Cameroon, and will walk into the Limbe Omnisport Stadium on Wednesday with the confidence that their offensive department continues to shine.

But with a talented squad that is battling to retain the CHAN trophy, 24 years old forward Soufiane Rahimi stands out after showing his prowess in their four games where he has scored three goals and played a pivotal role for the team going forward.

Although he is a forward whose responsibility mainly is to get the goals, Rahimi has also played a key role falling back to help the midfielders and defend when the team is under pressure.

“I want to score as many goals as possible to help our team win the title,” Rahimi told CAFOnline.com.

Raja Casablanca forward says that mor important than the goals is that they are working as a team on the pitch.

Born on 9 June 1996, Rahimi has been outstanding with Raja in the last two seasons. He is also among the few home-based players who feature regularly with the senior Atlas Lions.
