Koller's Al Ahly braced for Orlando Pirates onslaught

Al Ahly head coach Marcel Kohler says his side are adequately prepared from the onslaught expected from a sold-out Orlando crowd in their top-of-the-table TotalEnergies CAF Champions League Group C clash on Saturday.

The Egyptian outfit usually outmuscle teams when it comes to their 12th man in the stands, but this time around they will be faced with a vibrant Pirates fanbase, who will be backing their team for victory.

Indications are that Al Ahly will be drastically outnumbered on the field; however, Al Ahly's Swiss mentor is confident his side can withstand the pressure they will face at Orlando Stadium.

"It's normal that it’s not the same if you play at home and when you play outside.  In front of your supporters, you play another game and we have a lot of supporters in Cairo and we enjoy playing there, but we are very, very well prepared for the game tomorrow and our players are well prepared for the task tomorrow, " he said.

Pirates boast a number of attacking players like Relebohile Mofokeng and Mohau Nkota who scored a brace against Belouizdad, though Koller does not want to single out any of Jose Riveiro's men on the day.

"We will play against a strong team with a lot of good players who play there. I don't want to give you a particular name but inside our team we discussed this and our players will be well prepared for this and tomorrow and we will discuss it within the team and not outside of it," he added.

Kick-off at Orlando Stadium is 15h00 Local Time (13h00 GMT).
