Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of CAF Corporate Events, ensuring seamless execution from conception to completion coordinating all event details, ensuring internal and external alignment, and managing approval processes.
  • Conceptualize and develop operational concepts in collaboration with internal and external parties.
  • Manage and control event budgets effectively, maximizing resources to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Provide leadership to project teams and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and driving towards shared objectives.
  • Oversee event suppliers, including event agencies, to ensure alignment with event objectives and standards.
  • Lead event services for all division requirements, including transport, flights, visas, accommodation, transfers, accreditation, access control, vehicle access, vehicle movements, catering, delivery schedules, and more.
  • Plan and conduct site inspections, implementing corrective measures as necessary to maintain quality standards.
  • Direct the staging of events, overseeing logistics, operations, and guest experiences.
  • Prepare comprehensive debriefing reports to evaluate event success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead focus groups to develop fully integrated guest relations processes, ensuring consistent quality and seamless provision of information.
  • Monitor guest requests and bookings, implementing change management processes as needed.
  • Draft accurate progress reports for the line manager after each event.
  • Perform all other duties in line with the role as requested or directed by senior management.

 

Requirements (profile):

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in planning and leading events in a guest-related service environment.
  • Previous experience in managing different events (preferably in sports) and working with high-level individuals.
  • Proven track record of handling tasks with high attention to details and professionalism.
  • Extensive experience of managing end-to-end V/VIP hospitality programmes at major events.
  • Expertise in event management and guest relations; knowledge of its respective methodologies, planning and controlling tools.
  • Experience in ticketing management, including overseeing VIP ticket allocation, and seating arrangements, as well as coordinating ticket distribution and access control.
  • Proficiency in VVIP transport logistics, including coordinating transportation arrangements for high-level dignitaries ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
  • Proficiency in English, French, and Arabic spoken and written. English-Arabic and English-French speaking candidates would be preferred
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and other modern IT tools.
  • Strong formal e-mail writing skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Venue selection, negotiation, and management expertise.
  • Awareness of cultural sensitivities and customs.
