Beaten 1-3 in the first leg played at home, the Senegal Women's Under-20 team will play to save their honor against Nigeria this Saturday, their coach, Aïcha Henriette Ndiaye told CAFOnline.com

“We were beaten at home, it is a question of coming to snatch a positive result and save the honor of our football and our country on this return meeting”, replied the technician when asked about the ambitions of her team on this return match against Nigeria.

“The Girls, I assure you, will give everything (on Saturday), the objective is to seek a victory synonymous with qualification”, she insisted.

“Otherwise, worst-case scenario, they know they have to come home with a positive result against a Nigeria side that is more athletically and tactically ready,” she said.

“We will do everything to snatch a positive result in a difficult context and against a mature opponent,” she said, indicating that the U20 team will benefit from these playoffs.
