Morocco defeated Egypt 4-3 on Wednesday to secure Group B second place of the ongoing Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations, Senegal 2021 and accompany Mozambique to the semifinals.

Mozambique shocked pre-tournament favorites Morocco and Egypt to guarantee group B top spot and leave the second ticket between the North Africans with Seychelles eliminated.

Egypt was the first to score after a superb strike from Hossam Hassan. But Morocco immediately equalized through Rabi Aboutalbi.

Morocco captain Nassim El Hadaoui made it 2-1, before Egypt restored parity again via Hassan Hussein. The rollercoaster game continued with Egypt taking the lead again via Ahmed Elshahat and Aboutalbi equalizing again for Morocco.
