Mozambique shocks Egypt from the start

Debutants Mozambique shocked favorites Egypt to beat them 7-5 in Saly on Sunday, in the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations, Senegal 2021 opening match.

Thanks to a surge from Nelson Manuel, defender of Textafrica de Chimoio, Mozambique won 7-5.

The Mambas took the Pharaohs by surprise, initially presenting a defensive system with three fullbacks. On the pitch, however, the Mozambicans were bold and very offensive.

Mozambique, which has started their Group B campaign well, will face Seychelles on Monday.
