Holders of the record for the most African Cup of Nations titles with seven to their name, Egypt heads to Morocco looking to erase the crushing defeats suffered in the two finals of the 2017 and 2021 editions.

Africa’s most successful team last tasted continental success in 2010 when they lifted their seventh title and have since fallen short.

“The Pharaohs" aim to reclaim their number one spot when they head to Morocco later this year.
