Harare hosts engaging TotalEnergies Drive the Future Workshop on Day 3 of CAF African Schools Championship
Day Three of the CAF African Schools Football Championship saw learners at Gateway High School participate in an impactful TotalEnergies Drive the Future Workshop, reaching 32 young participants through the Mobility Snapshot Training Programme.
The session formed part of TotalEnergies’ broader Drive the Future campaign, aimed at empowering young leaders with the knowledge and practical tools to advocate for safer road environments. Wednesday’s workshop combined interactive learning with real-life applications, allowing learners to better understand the challenges of unsafe mobility and how these affect their daily journeys to school and sporting activities.
Participants were taken through a structured programme that introduced key concepts of safe mobility before progressing into hands-on activities. The introduction to Mobility Snapshots enabled them to analyse real-world situations and propose solutions that contribute to safer, more inclusive streets.

The workshop also encouraged active participation, positioning learners not just as recipients of knowledge but as contributors to building safer mobility systems.
Through these engagements, the programme continues to raise awareness on the importance of road safety while inspiring young people to play a meaningful role in shaping safer communities.
As the CAF African Schools Football Championship continues in Harare, initiatives such as the TotalEnergies Drive the Future Workshop are leaving a lasting impact - equipping the next generation with the awareness and skills needed to create safer, more sustainable environments for all.
