SuperSport to Broadcast CAF African Schools Football Championship Continental Finals Live from 06-10 April in Zimbabwe

The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has confirmed that Continental Finals of the CAF African Schools Football Championship Zimbabwe 2026 will be live on live on SuperSport. 

The CAF African Schools Football Championship, an initiative of CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe, is the biggest schools programme in Africa and has seen over Three (3) million Boys and Girls participating since its inception. 

The Continental Finals will be played in Zimbabwe, Harare from 06-10 April. 

As the leading broadcaster in Africa to millions of viewers on the continent, SuperSport’s live coverage represents a major step forward in expanding the reach and visibility of the CAF African Schools Football Championship, further reflecting the growing interest and commercial appeal of CAF competitions across the continent and globally. 

CAF President, Dr Patrice Motsepe will attend the Final. 

The much-anticipated finals will take place in Harare, from 06 - 10 April 2026, bringing together champions of CAF’s six Zonal Unions in both the Boys and Girls U-15 age categories. 

The Girls’ Final will kick off at 14h00 local time (12h00 GMT), followed by the Boys’ Final at 15h15 local time (13h15 GMT) – both matches will be broadcast live on SuperSport.

Winners of the CAF African Schools Football Championship will receive USD 300,000 in both the Boys’ and Girls’ categories. Runners-up receive USD 200,000, while third-place teams will be awarded USD 150,000 - all ring-fenced for development projects within in African schools and sponsored by the Motsepe Foundation. 

CAF African Schools Football Championship Continental Finals, Zimbabwe 2026 qualified teams: 

Girls: Zimbabwe (Hosts), Ghana (Champions), Burkina Faso, Morocco, Guinea, Tanzania, Zambia, DR Congo

Boys: Zimbabwe (Hosts), Tanzania (Champions), Benin, Morocco, Senegal, Uganda, Zambia, DR Congo
