CAF has officially confirmed the dates and kick-off times for the quarter-final matches of the 2025/26 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League, setting up a series of high-profile encounters across the continent in March.

Among the standout fixtures is the heavyweight clash between Egyptian giants Al Ahly and Tunisian champions Esperance Sportive de Tunis. The first leg will take place in Tunis on 15 March at 21:00 GMT, with the return leg scheduled in Cairo on 21 March at 19:00 GMT.

Another intriguing tie will see South African powerhouse Mamelodi Sundowns host Mali’s Stade Malien on 13 March at 18:00 GMT in the opening leg. The decisive return match will follow in Bamako on 22 March at 16:00 GMT.

Defending champions Pyramids FC also face a demanding test against Moroccan military club AS FAR. Their first meeting is set for 13 March at 22:00 GMT in Morocco before the return fixture in Egypt on 21 March at 16:00 GMT.

Meanwhile, Morocco’s RS Berkane will begin their quarter-final against Sudanese side Al Hilal on 14 March at 22:00 GMT, with the second leg taking place on 22 March at 16:00 GMT.

The quarter-finals promise a blend of traditional rivalries and emerging continental battles, with clubs from North, West and Southern Africa all represented in the last eight.

When the draw for the knockout stage was conducted in Cairo earlier last month, the participating teams learned their opponents and potential routes to the final.

The precise match schedule is now confirmed with exact dates and kick-off times as preparations for the matches intensify.

The ties will be played over two legs, with the winners advancing to the semi-finals of Africa’s premier club competition.

According to the tournament bracket determined during the draw, the winner of the tie between Esperance and Al Ahly will face the team that progresses from the Mamelodi Sundowns versus Stade Malien match-up.

On the opposite side of the bracket, the victor between AS FAR and Pyramids FC will meet the winner of the RS Berkane against Al Hilal tie.

The semi-finals are scheduled to take place in April, with the first legs between 10 and 12 April and the return legs between 17 and 19 April.

The two-legged final will then be staged in May to determine the new continental champion.

With the quarter-final schedule now confirmed, attention turns to the decisive stage of the competition, where Africa’s elite clubs will battle for a place in the semi-finals and keep their dreams of continental glory alive.
