Moutouali – Raja’s Maradona

The Moroccan giants’ midfielder forced himself as one of the best in the history of three-time African Champions Raja, and with his love and devotion to the Green Eagles he gained an eternal popularity with their faithful fans.
Born in Casablanca on 3 March 1986, he started his career in the youth ranks of Raja, and from his first days he was spotted as a promising talent. After a loan spell at Union de Touarga, he immediately became the fans’ favorite with his dribbling and scoring skills.
Moutouali left for UAE based side Emirates in 2011 before returning to Raja the next year. In 2014 he went to Qatar where he donned the shirts of Al Wakrah, Al Rayyan and Al Ahli, before coming back home for the third time in 2019.
His exceptional ball control skills made him a joy to watch. And for years he has been Raja supporters’ favorite man.
And when Raja tackles Egyptian giants Zamalek in the 2019-20 Total CAF Champions League semifinals first leg this weekend, The Green Eagles will be once again counting on Moutouali heroics, as they are seeking a fourth glory in the premier continental club competition, their first since 1999.
