Ivorian club AFAD Djekanou knocked out Kara of Togo with a 2-1 victory to set up a second round clash with Coyah.


Stade Malien of Mali defeated Liberia's Watanga 4-1 to underline their dominance over two legs.


Finally, Nigeria's Bendel Insurance edged past Algeria's ASO Chlef on penalties after a 1-1 aggregate draw to reach the next phase.
