Eight clubs confirmed for 2025/26 TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup Quarter-finals
The eight clubs that will compete in the Quarter-finals of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup 2025/26 have been confirmed following the conclusion of the group stage.
Two-time winners Zamalek of Egypt and 2023 champions USM Alger of Algeria are among the teams that sealed their places in the last eight after the group stage ended on Sunday.
The knockout phase will feature representatives from Algeria, Morocco, Egypt, DR Congo and Congo, underlining the competitive balance and strong regional representation in this season’s competition.
In Group A, USM Alger topped the standings with 14 points after an unbeaten campaign of four wins and two draws. Morocco’s Olympique de Safi finished second with 13 points.
Group B saw Moroccan giants Wydad AC finish as group winners with 15 points from six matches, winning five of their fixtures. DR Congo’s Maniema Union secured the second qualification spot with 12 points.
In Group C, Algeria’s CR Belouizdad progressed as group winners with 15 points while Congo’s Otoho d’Oyo claimed second place with nine points to secure their place in the quarter-finals.
Group D produced one of the most closely contested finishes. Egypt’s Zamalek topped the group with 11 points while compatriots Al Masry secured second place with 10 points after edging out Kaizer Chiefs on goal difference in a tightly fought section.
The Quarter-final Draw for the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup 2025/26 will take place on Tuesday, 17 February 2026, at the Egyptian Football Association Auditorium in Cairo.
The draw is scheduled for 13:00 Cairo time (11:00 GMT) and will be streamed live on CAF’s official YouTube channel, CAF TV.
The ceremony will determine the quarter-final pairings and the route to the final as Africa’s leading clubs move into the decisive knockout phase of the 2025/26 season.
The Quarter-finals mark the beginning of the two-legged knockout stage as clubs intensify their pursuit of continental silverware.
