South African duo Kaizer Chiefs and Stellenbosch FC march into TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup Group stages
South Africa will have double representation in the group stages of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup after Kaizer Chiefs and Stellenbosch FC produced commanding home performances to seal qualification on aggregate on Sunday.

Etiosa Ighodaro, Zwitha Kwinika as well as Glody Lilepo all found the back of the net for the South African giants.
AS Simba briefly threatened a comeback when Moussa Kanda pulled one back early in the second half, but Kaizer Chiefs remained composed and continued to dictate the tempo.
In Stellenbosch, the Cape Winelands club delivered a performance to remember, storming past Angolan visitors 15 de Agosto with a 4–1 win that secured their progress by the same aggregate scoreline. After a tight first leg away from home, Stellenbosch made full use of their home advantage at the Danie Craven Stadium.
