The TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup Matchday 4 delivered thrilling action over the weekend as RS Berkane became the first team to book their place in the quarter-finals as the race for the knockout stages intensifies.

Group A: Constantine Dominate, Simba Edge Closer
CS Constantine showcased their dominance with a stunning 4-0 win over Angola’s Bravos do Maquis. Miloud Rebiai and Tosin Omoyele secured an early lead, while Abdennour Belhocini and Dadi El Hocine Mouaki added two late strikes to complete the rout. Simba SC kept pace with a 1-0 victory against CS Sfaxien, courtesy of Jean Ahoua’s solitary goal, solidifying their joint lead with Constantine on nine points. Bravos remain third with six points, while Sfaxien is winless and out of contention.

 

 

Group B: Berkane Advance, Stellenbosch Revive Hopes

 

RS Berkane became the first team to qualify for the knockout stages, grinding out a 1-0 victory over Stade Malien, maintaining their perfect record. Meanwhile, Stellenbosch FC reignited their campaign with a 2-0 triumph against CD Lunda Sul, thanks to Andre de Jong’s second-half brace. Berkane leads with 12 points, followed by Stellenbosch on six. Stade Malien and Lunda Sul trail with four and one point respectively.

 

 

 

 

Group C: Tight at the Top
USM Alger maintained their grip on the group summit with a 1-1 draw against ASEC Mimosas in Abidjan. The Algerians are now on eight points, with Mimosas and Jaraaf tied on five after Jaraaf’s narrow 1-0 win over Orapa United, who remain bottom with two points.

Group D: Enyimba Shine, Zamalek Stumble
Enyimba thrilled fans in Aba with a commanding 4-1 victory over Mozambique’s Black Bulls, powered by a Joseph Atule brace. However, Zamalek could only manage a goalless draw in the Egyptian derby against Al Masry. Zamalek leads with eight points, followed by Al Masry on five, while Enyimba and Black Bulls are tied on four points.
