Morocco’s OC Safi produced a dominant display at home, defeating Niger’s Nigelec 5–0 to complete a 6–0 aggregate win. The Moroccan side controlled the game from start to finish, creating multiple chances and keeping Nigelec under constant pressure.

Azam make it two wins from two

Tanzania’s Azam FC continued their strong form with a 2–0 home victory over Sudan’s Al Merreikh, finishing 4–0 on aggregate. The Tanzanian side were organized at the back and efficient in attack, leaving Al Merreikh unable to find a way past their defensive structure. Zambia’s Zesco United made a statement with a 5–0 demolition of the Gabonese side in Ndola, overturning a first-leg deficit to win 5–2 on aggregate.
