Morocco set to showcase its cultural and artistic wealth in TotalEnergies CAF Futsal AFCON closing ceremony

Renowned Moroccan violinist Said El Moujahid will be one of the stars to perform during the TotalEnergies CAF Futsal AFCON Morocco 2024 closing ceremony.

The closing ceremony promises to be a vibrant and captivating celebration, showcasing the passion for Futsal in Morocco. 

Planned as a great celebration, the ceremony will take place under the sign of diversity and energy, reflecting not only the competitive spirit of the participating nations, but also the cultural and artistic wealth of Morocco.

At the heart of this ceremony, the emphasis will be placed on Moroccan heritage, from its traditional origins to its modern and innovative expressions. By staging this passing of the cultural baton, the event aims to be a reflection of dynamism.

Violinist Said El Moujahid will headline the closing ceremony with a world class performing performance at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Hall in Rabat.

The popular artists will introduce his daughter to symbolize the transition from one generation to another. Her performance will be accompanied by a group of dancers to highlight the vibrancy of Moroccan culture through the excitement of its artistic scene.

Host Morocco and Angola will battle for continental glory in the final of the 7th edition of TotalEnergies CAF Futsal AFCON Morocco 2024.

The Atlas Lions of Morocco will be hoping for a third consecutive title after winning it in 2016 and 2020, whilst Angola's Sable Antelopes are targeting their maiden crown.

Record champions Egypt and Libya will face each other in the third-place match to confirm the continent's third representative at the FIFA Futsal World Cup later this year in Uzbekistan.
