TotalEnergies CAF Futsal AFCON – Morocco dominates individual awards, Cambangula top scorer
Hosts Morocco were crowned kings of African futsal once again, beating Angola 5-2 in Rabat to win a record fourth consecutive title.
The Atlas Lions stamped their authority on the final at the Salle Moulay Abdellah and swept the individual honors at the TotalEnergies CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026. Angola's consolation was the Top Scorer award. The tournament also produced a historic run from debutants Algeria, who reached the semifinals on their first appearance.
Youssef Jouad was named TotalEnergies Man of the Competition, and he capped it by scoring in the final and taking the Man of the Match award. The 26-year-old Union Sport Touarga ace was an integral part of Morocco's success.
Youssef Bensellam won Best Goalkeeper. Morocco conceded no goals in their opening four matches and only twice in the entire tournament, both in the final, as he helped Hicham Dguig's side to glory. The Atlas Lions also took the Fair Play Team award for their discipline.
Angola's Joao Cambangula won the Top Scorer award with eight goals for the Palancas Negras.
