Hosts and defending champions Morocco booked their place in the final of the TotalEnergies CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026 with a commanding 6-0 victory over Egypt in Monday’s second semi-final at the Moulay Abdellah Sports Hall in Rabat.

The hosts delivered a dominant performance to set up a final showdown against Angola on Wednesday, as they continue their pursuit of a fourth consecutive continental crown.

Morocco took control early, with Bilal Bakkali opening the scoring in the ninth minute before Ismail Amazal doubled the advantage just a minute later.

Amazal struck again in the 15th minute to extend Morocco’s lead to 3-0, leaving Egypt with a difficult task against the defending champions, who continued to dictate the tempo.

Morocco maintained their attacking intensity after the break, and Bakkali added his second goal of the match in the 22nd minute to further strengthen the hosts’ position.

Soufian Charraoui then took centre stage in the closing stages, scoring in the 31st minute before completing the 6-0 victory with his second goal in the 38th minute.

The emphatic result confirmed Morocco’s place in the final, where they will face Angola, who earlier staged a remarkable comeback to defeat Algeria 3-2 after trailing by two goals.

The final will take place on Wednesday, 21 October at 20h00 local time, with Morocco aiming to retain their title on home soil. Egypt will face Algeria in the third-place match at 17h00.
