The Final Draw for the TotalEnergies CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2026 will take place on Wednesday, 8 April 2026 at CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, starting at 14:00 local time (12:00 GMT).
The draw will be broadcast live on CAF TV and will feature current African stars Fiston Mayele (DR Congo), Aliou Dieng (Mali) and Ahmed Belhadji (Morocco).
Joining hosts Morocco at the finals will be Ethiopia, Tanzania and Uganda from CECAFA; Angola, Mozambique and South Africa from COSAFA; Senegal and Mali from WAFU A; Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana from WAFU B; Cameroon and DR Congo from UNIFFAC; and Algeria, Egypt and Tunisia from UNAF.
The TotalEnergies CAF U-17 AFCON Morocco 2026 will provide a platform for the continent’s finest emerging talent to compete for continental glory and secure one of Africa’s 10 places at the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2026 later this year.
The tournament will feature 16 teams, with the eight quarter-finalists qualifying automatically for the FIFA U-17 World Cup, while two additional places will be decided through play-off matches involving the four teams that finish third in their groups.
