Dhaoui eyes Carthage Eagles call up after guiding Tunisia to the quarter-finals

Tunisia forward Mohamed Dhaoui scored the winner against Zambia to send the Young Carthage Eagles to the quarter-finals of the TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Al Ahly starlet was named the TotalEnergies Man of the Match in Monday's 2-1 success over the Young Copper Bullets at the Cairo International Stadium to secure second place in Group C.
The Cairo based winger scored a spectacular goal on 59 minutes to win it for Adel Sellimi's team and effectively eliminated Zambia.
After the match the youngster was full of praise for his teammates while keeping his doors open for a possible senior call up.
"The match was not easy but thank God we succeeded in winning and qualifying to the quarter finals," Dhaoui said.
"The whole team performed well and God willing we will continue to develop and hopefully go all the way in the tournament.
"Playing for the senior Tunisia national team is a matter of time and is in the hands of the coach.
"I tried to help my team today and strive to develop and improve."
