Mozambique U-20 start preparations for Mauritania 2021

After winning the Cosafa tournament last December in Port Elizabeth, Mozambique U-20 team started its preparation this week for the Total U-10 Africa Cup of Nations, Mauritania 2021.

COSAFA U-20 title was Mozambique's first international one, paving the way for their first ever U-20 AFCON appearance,

Mozambique coach Dário Monteiro called 35 players, including five new faces who did not take part in the COSAFA tournament, four of whom playing in Portugal and one in Spain.

Monteiro said that it is important to win the first AFCON game and then to think about the others.

The team will carry out a camp in Songo, Nampula and Maputo
