Malabo Kings revive hopes by blasting hosts Wadi Degla 3-0

Malabo Kings defeated hosts Wadi Degla as Group A Matchday 2 of the TotalEnergies CAF WCL kicked off at 30 June stadium, Cairo.

The Equatoguineans dominated the game as Stephanie Gbegou opened the scoring for Malabo Kings at the 13th minute from the spot.

She completed her brace scoring her third goal of the tournament, at the 41st minute, as the first half ended 2-0 in favor of Malabo.

After the break, Grace Balongo added the third goal for Malabo.

Wadi Degla goalkeeper Nasra Abdel Malek made huge saves to save her side from a humiliating scoreline.

Malabo grabbed their first three points of the group to go level with Degla.
