Vihiga Queens revive hopes with 2-0 win against ASFAR

Kenya’s Vihiga Queens revived their semifinal qualification hopes, beating Morocco’s ASFAR to complicate the situation in Group B standings.

Violet Wanyonyi scored the first goal for the Queens at the 9th minute, as the Kenyans dominated the opening half.

After the break, Tereza Engesha scored the second goal, as ASFAR who tried to get back into the game but lacked the final finish.

Vihiga Queens will face Rivers Angels on Friday at 30 June Stadium while ASFAR clashes with Mamelodi Sundowns on the same day at El Salam Stadium.
